in the capital of India, New Delhi, Tibet
House is an excellent resource center providing
an overview of the history of Tibet. It
is located in the institutional field Lodhi
Road. The Museum of Tibet house, houses
a collection of Tibetan artifacts brought
to India by the Dalai Lama when he fled
from there. The highly of the museum includes
rare 15th century 'tankhas ', painted scrolls
representing the life of Buddha.

are beautiful figurines of Buddha, old currency
notes, musical instruments, objects of prayer
jewelry and antiques. The House of Tibet
museum also houses a library with books
on the history and culture of Tibet. You
can also buy Tibetan handicrafts, clothing,
jewelry and curios shops in the complex.
