the first five passport offices in India.
It was set up in 1954 and is situated at
Bhikaji Cama Place in New Delhi. The passport
office provides passports to the residents
of Delhi, along with those residing in neighboring
cities of Gurgaon, Rewari, Faridabad, Sonepat,
Jajjar, Rohtak, Nuh and Mohindergarh. The
office remains open from 9.30 in the morning
to 6.00 in the evening. You can visit the
place any day from Monday to Friday, except
on public holidays.
To obtain a passport, you
can get the application form, from the concerned
Passport Office, District Passport Centers
(DPCs), Speed Post Centers or Passport Application
Collection Centers. You can submit the duly
filled form to the same. Online registration
facility is also provided for the convenience
of people. Apart from Delhi, the facility
is available at some of the selected cities
in the country. In case of an urgent requirement
of the passport, you can obtain the same
in just 15 days under the Tatkaal Scheme.
Along with the application

These documents are returned after the verification
of data. One can also authorize any member

behalf. This is to be done with the help
of an authority letter. In case you are
sending your form by post, the photocopies
of all the original documents are to be
attested by a Gazetted Officer or Notary.
