Delhi Fairs

 
Trade and craft fairs are a common phenomenon in Delhi. A number of fairs are held each year. Some of these fairs are annual in nature, while others are held on different occasions, from time to time. The fairs held in the city are based on various themes and respond to all segments of the population. The International Trade Fair held in New Delhi is the biggest fair held in India. It takes a magnanimous number of people not only from India but also abroad. Most fairs are held, depending on weather conditions, as the month of September, October and November.

India International Trade Fair
The 14-day India International Trade Fair begins on November 14 each year. Held at Pragati Maidan, this fair is very popular and large corporate houses all over the world participate in this event. In addition to promoting trade, it also serves as a launching pad for their latest products and services to market. It is also a major tourist attraction and a number of visitors to the fair, just to see and compare the quality of products and rates offered by other companies. In addition to the show, Pragati Maidan is also the venue for several other fairs and exhibitions held throughout the year, such as Auto Expo and Fair leather.

Book Fair Delhi
Book Fair Delhi is also an annual fair held in Pragati Maidan. It is just an enormous as books, magazines, study materials and software on a wide range of subjects are exposed. It is organized by the Indian Trade Promotion Organization. Book Fair Delhi is a dream for all book lovers in the country. Apart from making the book lovers happy, it also widens the possibilities of distribution for publishers. There are stands all over India and abroad.

The craft fair in Delhi HAAT
The craft fair in Delhi HAAT is a continuous and attracts many tourists. The show exhibitions of handicrafts from different states of the country. The know-how qualified is reflected in art and crafts from different regions. Among other exhibitions organised here place during special events and festivals as Teej fair, equitable Diwali, etc.

Surajkund Crafts Mela
Surajkund Crafts Mela held in Haryana, a suburb of Delhi, is also a favorite hotspot. This rendezvous annual crafts fair is a good place to see skilled craftsmen at work. Typically, it is organised on a particular theme state and we can see the blending of traditional arts and crafts and modern trends. It also offers fashion shows and puppet shows as its culmination.

Phholwalon-Ki-Sair
