Delhi Airport

 
New Delhi Airport is an important destination for all those who intend to proceed in the capital of India. Previously known as the Palam airport, it was renamed the ''Indira Gandhi International Airport 'on May 2, 1986. It has two main terminals, one for domestic flights and the second for international flights. The former Palam airport is now known as Terminal 1 and is used for domestic operations. Terminal 1 has been divided into three terminals. Terminal 1A is used for domestic flights of the State-owned Indian Airlines and its subsidiary, Air Alliance.

Montreal 1B is used for all other national airlines private knowledge. Jet Airways and Air Deccan and other executive aircraft / private aviation activities. The third is the National Administration of arrival. In addition, it is also a technical field for the use of VVIP movements. In addition, there is a separate Hajj terminal for handling crowds during Hajj. Terminal II is the international terminal and is open to all international flights. There are about 35 airlines operating from here, theft of major cities across the world. A number of facilities are provided at the airport for passenger comfort.

Rooms & retirement dormitory
9 retirement rooms are available at Terminal I and two rooms are planned in Montreal II. Dormitory facilities are also available at both terminals. Children under 12 are allowed at no extra cost.

Easy to luggage
May You use the left luggage facility, located in the premium Terminal Zone II in Montreal and general parking in front of Terminal IB. Here you can leave your luggage for a short time.

Baggage service packing
To get your bags packed before registering, you can use this service, almost X-rays at the departure level, Terminal II. Make sure you collect the money a reception for the service.

Lobby infant
From the privacy of mothers, a well-equipped infant Lobby with toys, cot and a woman is available in each hotel. Mothers can easily nurse their children here.

The Facilitation Counters
The facilitation counters are located in the departure hall and inside the Customs Hall, near belts. These meters can be contacted for any type of information.

Banking / Finance Exchange Service
The banks are located at different places at the airport. For security reasons, exchanging currencies of these banks and authorized only to obtain official receipts.

Railway against Reservation
Booking train is located outside the room Custom (Terminal II). Arriving passengers can book their tickets for rail this counter.

Post and Telecommunications
Postal is available in each hotel. At Terminal II, Post Office is located in the departure hall. The services offered by this against telegrams, faxes, calls STDs, postal stamps, postcards, letters, speed posts, etc.

STD / ISD / PCO booths
There are a number of PCO booths available at different points in the airport.

Medical Facilities
Doctors at the call and free medical are available at the airport. Contact the airline you are traveling with or manager of the airport of the Airports Authority of India in case of need.

Chemist
A stock-pharmacy is located at the departure area, Terminal II, to meet the requirement last-minute passengers.

Transit Lounge
It is located at Terminal II. You can spend your free time here, shopping, visiting bars and snacks watching television.

Duty free shops
Duty Free Shop at the airport offers handicrafts, garments, electronic products and alcohol in the transit room. The payment is accepted in foreign currency.

Internet kiosks
