Forest Research Institute
Forest Research Institute (FRI) is now counted
among the best institutes in India dedicated
to forest research. One of the main attractions

specimens. The museum is open Monday to
Friday and is the ideal place to explore
vegetation gifted by the Earth. The botanical
garden located at IRF is another major attraction.
Tapkeshwar Temple
Tapkeshwar temple is located in the picturesque
suburb of Dehradun. It is dedicated to Lord
Shiva, the God of strict rituals 'exploit
'(meditation). You can reach the temple
only after climbing a long flight of stairs.

Malsi Deer Park

Sahastradhara

surrounding green and foaming waterfall
in the place makes it the perfect picnic
spot.
Robber 's Cave
Robber 's Cave is another popular tourist
spot, located 8 km from Dehradun. One of
the most visited picnic near the town, the
cave is the ideal place to take a pleasant
stroll and feel at ease with itself. There
is an unusual phenomenon here, where a stream
suddenly disappeared from sight at one point
and then reappears after a few metres.
